Description
The M154 range of motors are the largest of our ‘off-the-shelf’ size motors – these units can provide continuous power up to 5kW and up to 15kW when sufficiently cooled, making them suitable for larger applications such as electric vehicles and boat conversions.
A great way to ‘go green’ and focus on sustainable energy consumption, with a width of 167mm and standard length of 251mm (excl. shaft), means these electric motors are both lighter and smaller than the systems they are commonly used to replace.
They are strong and durable, with rating of up to IP66, commonly deployed in harsh outdoor environments.

In order to operate, all BLDC motors require a suitable controller to perform the electronic commutation function. The KLS Brushless DC Motor Controller is a sinusoidal controller designed specifically for sinusoidal back emf motors. These customisable controllers provide the capability to control and cap your speed, reverse the direction of the motor, set your acceleration and deceleration requirements, and assign specific control parameters. The controller also provides the flexibility to program your motor’s speed and torque.
